Circular hike through the gorge with a short detour into the mountains. Along the way, learn exciting and surprising facts about the development of the gorge, geology, mountains, alpinism and tourism. Hear stories from the past. Enjoy the nature.

Leisurely circular hike. Gravel paths with steps, short piece of easy mountain path. Distance about 1.5 km. Ascent and descent about 160 meters each. Entire path in the open air without weather protection. Duration approx. 2 hours.

Good gym or hiking shoes, clothes suitable for the weather. In the mountains and especially in the gorge it is always noticeably cooler. Possibly hiking poles, umbrella, sunscreen, water bottle, etc.

At the ticket office at the entrance to the gorge. 1 minute walk from the post bus stop "Rosenlaui, Gletscherschlucht" as well as from the parking lots.

In case of bad weather, a small guided tour will take place. Duration approx. 1 hour. Price reduced. On the way there is no protection from the weather. Warm, weatherproof clothing, possibly umbrella!
