Arrival by car
By private car (max. 3.5 tons) the Rosenlaui Glacier Gorge can be reached from Meiringen. The stretch between Schwarzwaldalp and Grindelwald is closed to private traffic.
Sufficient parking spaces are available at the entrance to the gorge. The municipalities of Meiringen and Schattenhalb charge parking fees on all parking spaces in the valley. The net proceeds from parking fees are used for road maintenance. Please buy a parking ticket from the machine at the entrance of the valley (cash or credit card) and put the ticket clearly visible in the car. The ticket is valid for all parking lots in the valley. Arrival by public transport (ÖV)
With public transport you travel safely and comfortably. The Rosenlaui Glacier Gorge is on the "Meiringen - Grosse Scheidegg - Grindelwald" post bus route. The stop "Rosenlaui, Gletscherschlucht" is less than 1 minute walk from the entrance to the gorge.

Hiking / Cycling
The gorge lies on the wild and romantic hiking route Meiringen - Grosse Scheidegg - Grindelwald (Via Alpina, stage 10 and ViaBerna, stages 16 and 17). The hike can be divided into any sections, parts can be covered by post bus.
The regional bike route 61, stage 2, as well as the Alpine Bike 1, stage 11, lead past the entrance to the gorge.
